Mr. Roland Otaru, born on April 15th, 1959, was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1986. He started his legal practice in the law office of WOLE OLANIPEKUN & CO. after working there for more than six (6) years; he started a law firm of Otaru Otaru & Co.

ROLAND OTARU appeared in almost all the courts in this country on behalf of clients. He has a wide range of experience in corporate practice, oil & gas, representation of government agencies, and advices individual clients on capital market matters and litigation in all the courts of records, including Supreme Court of Nigeria.

Because of his versatility in advocacy, Mr. Otaru was conferred with the prestigious title of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) by the Legal Privileges Committee in the year 2006.

He also bagged the Masters of Law (LL. M) degree from the famous Obafemi Awolowo University (O. A. U.) of Ife. He has a Masters in Industrial and Labour Relations. He is also a Notary Public and in addition presents papers at Seminars and workshops on invitation by corporate bodies and organizations.

ROLAND OTARU, SAN is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK), Nigerian Branch and an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM). He is also an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Capital Markets Registrars (CICMR), Nigeria.

Mrs. Comfort Olusola Roland-Otaru is a managing partner of the firm, she acquired her LL.B (Hons) degree from The University of Jos, (UNIJOS) Plateu State and was enrolled into the Nigerian Bar (BL) in February, 1995. She is a member of the NBA, Ikeja branch.

Omotayo Atinuke Abiri (Mrs) is a Counsel at the Lagos office of the firm. She hails from Ife Central Local Government Area of Osun State. She bagged her LL.B (Hons) degree in October, 2005 from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife (GREAT IFE) and attended the Enugu Campus of the Nigeria Law School where she obtained her B.L. She was called to the Nigerian Bar in November, 2006.

She is currently running her masters degree programme at the Faculty of Law, University of Lagos. She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, Ikeja branch.
